Project FAQs
Answers before you start a project.
Common questions about working with KLUMI LABS on websites, online stores, and custom business systems. Your written scope and quotation define the details of your project.

Planning and pricing
What to prepare and how we define the project before work begins.
How much does a website or custom system cost?
The price depends on your features, modules, business rules, integrations, and project scope. After a requirements discussion, we prepare a written scope and quotation so you can review the price and deliverables before work begins.
View the development packageHow long will my project take?
We provide a timeline with the quotation after defining your requirements. The number of pages or modules, integrations, data migration, and content needed for launch affect the schedule. Share any target launch date when you inquire so we can discuss it during planning.
Explore the project processDo I need a complete specification to get started?
No. Start with a description of your business, how the work is handled today, and what you want to improve. A rough feature list, screenshots, examples, or existing documents can help. We use the requirements discussion to define the pages, modules, user roles, and deliverables together.
Use the website brief checklistWhat should I prepare for an online store project?
Prepare a sample product catalog with variants, describe how you manage stock, and list your payment and delivery needs. Explain what your team does after receiving an order and which features are essential for launch. These details help define the storefront, admin tools, integrations, and quotation.
Use the online store planning checklistHow do I explain what my business system needs to do?
Describe one task from start to finish: who handles it, which records they use, what rules they follow, and what happens when something goes wrong. Add the permissions, reports, and existing tools the system needs. Sample forms or anonymised records can help us clarify the workflow and prepare the scope.

Development and revisions
How you review the work and what happens when requirements change.
Can I try the project before it is finished?
Yes. We share working versions during development so you can review the interface and try the agreed workflows. You give feedback, we refine the project, and we demonstrate it again until the agreed requirements and objectives are met.
See how demo reviews workAre revisions included, and can I add new features?
Revisions apply to the agreed project scope. We refine the design and behaviour based on your feedback during demo reviews. Additional pages, modules, or integrations outside that scope can be quoted separately so the cost and schedule are clear before adding the work.
Are the public demos real client projects?
The public inventory, booking, and operations demos are examples using sample data. They let you explore the kinds of workflows we can build. Your project is scoped around your own requirements, so its features and design may differ from the demos.

Launch and support
Deployment, ongoing costs, and what to clarify for handover.
Do you handle hosting and deployment?
Yes. Hosting and deployment setup are included in the development package. We configure the hosting environment, domain, and SSL where applicable, then deploy the agreed project. Ongoing hosting and domain renewal costs are separate from the project fee and are explained during quotation.
What costs should I plan for after launch?
Plan for hosting and domain renewals. Depending on your agreed setup, payment providers or other third-party services may also charge transaction or subscription fees. We discuss the services required during quotation so you can consider these costs alongside the development fee.
Ask about project costsWhat support and maintenance are included?
The package includes basic documentation and post-launch technical support to fix issues, answer questions, and help your team settle in. Your quotation defines the support period. Discuss ongoing maintenance, updates, and any additional work beyond that period when planning your project.
Can I get the source code, or have you handle deployment?
Yes. You can choose source-code handover and arrange deployment yourself, or let KLUMI LABS handle deployment and hosting setup. We agree the handover, account access, and deployment responsibilities in your quotation. Ongoing hosting and domain costs are separate, and the quotation defines the support period.
